Voting Plans
Since the release of the 2000 census, over 250 election plans (multiple drafts) were developed by the FairPlan project -- primarily at the request of minority communities involved in local level redistricting in 25
states. During the 2000's, we have testified in federal court or were deposed in about 15 redistricting lawsuits and provided technical assistance in a dozen
others.
Below are a selection of on-line illustrative plans prepared since 2001. Stored off-line are thousands of drafts developed for over 600 places since the late
1980's.
